Omar facilitated a weekend plant medicine ceremony I attended. As soon as I met him I could tell he was very genuine and caring. He had such a wonderful energy to him that helped put me at ease. I had times during each night of ceremony that I really struggled and I juecist wanted someone to hear me say that. I hesitated reaching out to him for help, but I am so glad I did. He was just there for whatever I needed. I felt supported and safe in his presence. I knew he would do anything he could to keep me comfortable and protected. He treated me like a brother. What is a big blessed composed of? Definitely something big, definitely compassion,sympathy and empathy, add some spice along with your favorite veggie and you have the beginning ingredients to what makes up Omar Lopez. I like to think of Omar as a little big , big little brother because he’s so open and caring, he’s very understanding and educating he knows how to be safety and challenging , leading with compassion and care. He really is a unique and talented individual. I find myself constantly thanking O for what he does for me and people around , he does things without the bat of an eye and never second guesses to help those around him before himself, it’s comforting to be around; feels good. Fear in my life has been a major obstacle. I didn’t truly understand how big of a role it played on me until I was able to understand and face it /myself head on.
